I love people and I love to dress them. I love the environment, the Earth, the resources and the hearts that, with me, shape class, comfort and quality.
Slow Fashion is not disposable…
The frenzy and stress stay outside my studio, peeking in through the windows. Here we don’t sew, we care for the fabrics. It doesn’t standardize, it harmonizes. Don’t use it, dress it up.
In a society where everything is Fast, the food, the content, the people, friendship, love and Life, I focus on the affectionate pause that is to imagine, conceive and materialize, to cherish, harmonize and dress. My productions are often unique. Each creation will clothe a soul, rather than just another body.
On the one hand, sustainability is the rule. Creations and creator that elevate this concept to the maximum exponent of preservation of natural resources, with experienced and delicate hands taking care of the materials as being unique, because they are, effectively, finite. Now, more than ever, it is important to pay attention to the finitude of the materials that the environment provides us with. The pieces are adapted and built with less waste, the remaining fabrics are reused and the garment is finished by local craftsmen, who treat it like a newly born child, instead of a processing machine without soul or conscience.
On the other hand, the striking and perennial presence. Durable pieces that become friends for a lifetime. Pieces that accompany us and that also become part of the memories we build. As icons of reminiscence, always present and distinct.
I imagine each piece as someone who dreams peacefully. Contours are formed for me that, later, will belong to a being, to a soul. I look for superiority in materials and become friends with them. When we know each other well, they agree to transform them into the dream I had. In the creation for a being with whom, later on, they will become friends as well.
It is with this concept that I identify myself, since always. Quality, timelessness, exclusivity and sustainability. With conscience, with affection and elegance. Even before it was a theme or had a name, fashion, for me, was like that.
